When walking down the city streets it seems that every tree, every window, and well, everything is lit up. This weekend, my roommate and I went to the most charming European Christmas market in the Distillery District. We walked around, drank mulled wine and relished in the lights.
You see, I'm a sucker when it comes to those tiny bulbs on strings. Everything just looks more hopeful when lit up. It's natural to gravitate towards something brighter than yourself, but the real question lies in believing you too can be that bright. Will you swell or will you shrink in the presence?
